TECSA®CLOR is an imported, stabilised Chlorine Dioxide (as micro bubble) as gas in solution – (fixed compound, does not split into
chlorine & oxygen), 100% BIO-DEGRADABLE, organic, and non residual. It has an SG of 1,114 & a pH of 7.5 in solution. Tecsa®Clor can
disinfect in a pH range of between pH4 – pH8.
Tecsa®Clor is a highly effective anti-microbial agent which when used at the recommended dosages, quickly eliminates micro
organisms such as fungi, bacteria and combating viruses. This product is thermodynamically stable, hence when in solution will not
react with vegetative matter (will not form dioxins or “THMS” – Trihalomethanes, which are highly carcinogenic)
Tecsa®Clor is a fast acting disinfecting agent and is non phytotoxic, non-corrosive as ClO2 gas sterilizes through chemical
reduction and not oxidation (even at 500ppm, completely non-residual), and therefore safe to use on plants, in pumps / tanks /
pipes, and filters.
In packhouses and cold rooms, disinfection is best achieved  by the fogging of Tecsa®Clor into them at a rate of 1 litre of
Tecsa®Clor into 4 litres of water, where 2–4ml Tecsa®Clor is required per metre3 of area. Tecsa®Clor does not have any impact
on the ozone layer.
If packhouse/cold room is not empty and where height of stacked containers is less than 2 metres from roof, cover with plastic to
avoid condensation.
