Paecilomyces lilacinus strain F18 at a concentration of 1.0 x 10¹º Colony forming Units (CFU’s) per gram – South African Registration L9077 (Registered in Kenya)
Product specification/Purity: Mytech is a wettable powder formulation containing living conidia of
Paecilomyces lilacinus strain F18 at a concentration of 1.0 x 10¹º Colony forming Units (CFU’s) per gram in an inert carrier.
Mode of Action: Paecilomyces lilacinus parasitizes and subsequently kills eggs,juveniles,and adult
females of various plant parasitic nematodes. This includes Root Knot nematodes, Cyst nematodes,
Root lesion nematodes, Burrowing nematodes and Reniform nematodes amongst others.

Preparation and Application:

Mix the required amount of Mytech with water using 1 litre for every 125g of product, stir well to form a
uniform mixture. Add the mixture to the required volume of water in the spray tank and mix well. Add the required amount of Aqua-
Wet (a non-ionic wetter/spreader, 6-18ml per 100l of water) and mix thoroughly. After mixing with water the product should be
drenched /Band applied on to the soil as soon as possible and irrigated into the soil with more volumes of water.

DO NOT STORE OVER NIGHT
Frequency of application:

Frequency of application varies with the pest pressure and the crop. Generally it is recommended to apply, 7
days before planting followed by a second application 4 weeks after sowing and repeat every 4 weeks.
Rate/Dosage:

It is recommended to apply Mytech at 125g per hectare in 1000 litres of water followed by a further 1000 – 1500 litres of
water only to ensure the conidia are washed down to the root zone.
Storage conditions and shelf life:

Store in a cool, dry place in a tightly closed original pack. DO NOT FREEZE
and do not allow the product to undergo thermal shock. Mytech may be stored in original unopened
container for six months at temperatures of 6-12 °C.
